Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients, ensuring proper technique and patient positioning.
- Operate the CT scanner, adjust parameters, and optimize image quality while following radiation safety standards.
- Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients during scanning; respond to adverse events per protocol.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation; communicate findings to radiologists and assist with any preliminary interpretations as directed.
- Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure workflow efficiency, quality control, and equipment safety; participate in safety and infection-control practices.
- Assist with patient transport, comfort, and routine cleaning and stocking of the imaging suite.
Requirements
- ARRT CT certification and BLS required
- Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience
- Ability to work in a hospital setting on a travel assignment
- Holiday coverage: must work two major holidays and one minor holiday during the assignment (examples include Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day as major holidays and the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve as minor holidays)
