Registered Dietitian (Clinical) – Travel assignment in Delano, California. Start date: 05/11/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,263–$2,420 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients identified with special needs or nutritional risk.
- Perform initial nutrition assessments and ongoing reassessments, updating the plan of care as needed.
- Develop and document individualized nutrition plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families on nutrition, dietary modifications, and disease management to support nutrition goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of interventions in accordance with policy and professional standards.
- Communicate effectively with the care team to coordinate nutrition care and optimize patient outcomes in a home hospice setting.
Requirements
- Active California license/registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) in good standing
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from an accredited program
- Clinical nutrition experience; hospice/home health experience is preferred
- Ability to work in a home-based care setting and communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team
- Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills
- Commitment to professional standards and patient-centered care
