Travel Registered Nurse OB/GYN Job
Registered Nurse – OB/GYN (Travel) is available in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. This travel temporary assignment begins on 07/06/2026 for 14 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shifts are 5x8 days. The assignment is in a hospital setting. Eligible candidates will support obstetric and gynecologic patient care on the assigned unit, collaborating with the care team to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to OB/GYN patients, including monitoring vitals, fetal status, labor progress, and postpartum recovery as appropriate.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; manage IVs and standard obstetric care therapies.
- Document patient status accurately in the EMR; communicate changes in condition to the multidisciplinary team and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Assist with obstetric and gynecologic procedures as assigned; provide labor support and postpartum assistance; support newborn care when applicable.
- Educate patients and families on obstetric care, postpartum recovery, newborn care, discharge planning, and safety considerations.
- Uphold infection control practices, patient safety standards, and privacy regulations; participate in handoffs and shift-to-shift communication.
Requirements
- GYN experience required
- Experience as a registered nurse in obstetrics/gynecology preferred
- EMR experience or willingness to complete a 4-hour EMR training
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on day shifts (5x8 schedule)
- Ability to commute within 30 minutes of scheduled start times
