Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of an LPN under supervision of an RN
- Administer prescribed medications and document administrations accurately
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, identify changes, and communicate with the nursing team
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide supportive care
- Support wound care, charting, and routine treatments per care plans
- Maintain infection prevention, safety protocols, and accurate charting
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing (Maine)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program (LPN diploma)
- 1 year of licensed practical nurse experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Ability to work in a long-term care environment and perform 12-hour shifts
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
