Responsibilities
- Provide scrub and circulator support for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations.
- Assist with PCI/PTCA, stent placement, device implant/closure, and IABP placement/removal; support rotablator atherectomy as needed.
- Maintain sterile technique, equipment setup, and cath lab readiness; ensure proper preparation of all supplies and devices.
- Monitor patient status during procedures; assist with hemodynamic monitoring and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Assist with implantable devices and associated procedures; participate in post-procedure care and patient transport as required.
- Document procedures in the charting system (EPIC experience is a strict requirement) and contribute to accurate, timely records.

Requirements
- Active New York state license in hand to submit
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; ARRT(R) preferred; RCIS accepted in lieu of ARRT (facility limits to one RCIS on staff)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in the cath lab or related interventional setting; first-time travelers accepted
- Education: EPIC charting experience required
- Skill set: Cardiac catheterization, diagnostic/interventional procedures, sterile technique, and ability to work in a hospital cath lab environment
- Logistics: On-call responsibilities required; candidates must be able to float to related cath lab areas as needed
- Location/distance: Locals not accepted; must be more than 50 miles from the assignment site
