CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Radiology in Oswego, NY, United States. This travel assignment begins on 04/27/2026 and runs for 8 weeks. You will work 40 guaranteed hours per week on a Tue–Fri schedule, 12:00 PM–10:00 PM (10-hour days), in an inpatient imaging department operating a Siemens Somatom Perspective CT scanner. Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures with precision, safety, and patient comfort in mind
- Operate the Siemens Somatom Perspective CT scanner and adapt CT protocols to optimize image quality
- Verify patient identity, prepare for imaging, and manage contrast administration when required
- Maintain radiation safety practices, infection control, and equipment cleanliness; ensure imaging standards are met
- Document findings in the electronic medical record and communicate results promptly to the radiologist
- Collaborate with the radiology team to support efficient patient flow and high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Education: Associate degree or higher preferred
- Licensure: Valid New York State license to practice Diagnostic Radiography
- Certification: Valid and current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in X-ray
- Experience: Must have both CT and X-ray imaging experience
- Additional licenses: NYS license to inject contrast material preferred; must be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Other: Knowledge of CT and radiologic standards, safety, infection control, and EMR usage; strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced imaging environment
