- Key responsibilities: Monitor and interpret telemetry data, interpret rhythm strips, and identify deviations promptly; coordinate remotely with the bedside team to guide interventions; assess patient stability and respond to alarms with clinical judgment; administer prescribed medications and therapies per protocol; document thoroughly in the electronic health record; participate in care planning and handoffs; educate patients and families about telemetry systems, procedures, and expected outcomes; collaborate with physicians, case managers, and IT specialists to optimize monitoring workflows and patient safety.
