Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele in Randolph, Vermont, United States. Start date May 4, 2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Responsibilities
- Deliver bedside RN care to patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, covering a broad age range from pediatric to geriatric
- Monitor patient status, perform ongoing assessments, and respond to changes in condition with appropriate interventions
- Administer prescribed medications and intravenous therapies; manage telemetry as indicated
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, execute, and adjust the plan of care; participate in discharge planning
- Document care activities, vitals, progress notes, and care plans in the EMR (Meditech Expanse preferred but not required)
- Uphold patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (state not specified)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- RN experience: at least 1 year required; 2 years preferred
- EMR experience: Meditech Expanse preferred but not required
- Ability to work a 2x3 night shift and participate in a travel assignment
- Willingness to work with a patient population spanning pediatrics to geriatrics
