Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration per facility policy.
- Perform nursing assessments, monitor resident status, and report changes promptly.
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living and basic nursing treatments as delegated.
- Observe and document vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments; communicate with the supervising nurse.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record and care plans.
- Collaborate with the care team on care planning, ensuring safe, compliant care throughout each shift.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico, in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Prior long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work in a fast-paced LTC setting.
- Ability to pass standard background checks and drug screen.
- Local applicants only; ability to reliably commute to Silver City area.
