Registered Nurse – OB/GYN (Travel) in a surgical center setting. Location: Tuba City, Arizona. Start date: 07/13/2026. Assignment duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,461 to $2,568 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Flex. This travel opportunity focuses on obstetric care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, with a patient population served by a regional OB/GYN program.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients and newborns across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods in a surgical center environment.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal heart rate monitoring, administer medications per orders, and assist with procedures during labor and delivery.
- Assist physicians and midwives during examinations and OB/GYN procedures; support OR suites and postpartum wards as needed.
- Deliver family-centered care, provide patient and family education, and participate in discharge planning and newborn care instructions.
- Ensure adherence to nursing policies, standards of care, and accurate documentation in the charting system; uphold patient safety and infection control practices.
Requirements
- Current, valid RN license (unrestricted) to practice in the United States or territories.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) from the American Heart Association.
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and AWHONN Advanced EFM certifications required within six months of hire.
- NIHSS within six months of hire; STABLE within one year; ALSO within one year.
- Minimum of 2 years OB nursing experience across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and labor and delivery.
- Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program leading to RN licensure.
- Ability to work effectively in a surgical center OB/GYN setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

- Exemptions: COVID and flu exemptions may be accepted after completion of the declination form.
