Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Tele) travel assignment in an inpatient care environment located in Montclair, New Jersey. Start date: 09/28/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,915 – $2,048 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts. This assignment supports adult and geriatric patients and requires patient monitoring in a telemetry setting with interdisciplinary collaboration. Onsite orientation is required.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct bedside nursing care for adult and geriatric patients on telemetry, including monitoring vital signs, rhythm surveillance, and responding to changes in patient condition.
- Recognize and manage dysrhythmias, administer prescribed medications, and support non-invasive airway management as needed.
- Maintain vascular access care (Peripheral IVs), implement isolation precautions, and apply PPE according to protocol.
- Document care and outcomes in the charting system (Epic); participate in interdisciplinary rounds with PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, and others.
- Collaborate with Rapid Response and unit-based teams; coordinate care plans, safety checks, and patient/family communication; float to other units as needed per patient acuity and staffing.

Requirements
- Active RN license in New Jersey or a State/Compact license in hand at time of submittal.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; previous charge experience preferred.
- Telemetry and Med-Surg experience with ability to recognize/manage dysrhythmias.
- Proficiency in non-invasive airway management (e.g., nasal cannula) and peripheral IV care.
- EPIC charting experience required; ability to float to other units as needed; ability to work the 3x12-night schedule.
- Travel assignment eligibility; local candidates within 50 miles are NOT accepted.
- Orientation requirements include 32 hours on-site; onboarding items and labs to be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
- Pre-approved time off: 1 per contract.
