Travel Registered Nurse DON Job
Director of Nursing (Travel) – Fairmont, West Virginia. This travel RN leadership opportunity is a 8-week assignment in a long-term care (LTC) setting starting May 25, 2026. Weekly pay ranges from $2,468 to $2,535, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (8.5 hours), typically on a 5-day workweek.

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision of nursing staff across all shifts in a long-term care setting.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, including assessment, care planning, and treatment coordination.
- Oversee regulatory compliance, documentation accuracy, and readiness for surveys, audits, and accreditation requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor care plans; lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Manage staffing plans and scheduling; mentor and evaluate nursing team; support professional development.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize resident outcomes, ensure smooth transitions, and coordinate with families.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state where assignment occurs) or equivalent.
- Leadership/management experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.
- Ability to manage a 40-hour per week schedule on a travel assignment; availability for the shift 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
- Availability for an 8-week contract with guaranteed hours.
- Nursing degree (RN) from an accredited program.
