Responsibilities
- Provide quality respiratory care to patients of all ages in inpatient and outpatient settings under the direction of the Respiratory Director and Medical Director.
- Deliver therapy services and testing within the scope of Cardiopulmonary Services and licensure guidelines in the State of Maine.
- Manage adult, pediatric, and neonatal mechanical ventilation; operate BiPAP/CPAP; perform EKGs, PFTs, and cardiac stress testing; interpret basic cardiac arrhythmias.
- Participate in in-service training and continuing education to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
- Complete thorough documentation, coordinate with the care team, and respond to on-call needs as assigned.

Requirements
- Current Maine Respiratory Care Practitioners License (RCP) in good standing.
- NBRC CRT or RRT credential, or eligible to sit for the RRT exam within one year of start date.
- Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care Education program with CRT or RRT credential as recognized by NBRC.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is optional.
- Demonstrated ability to perform respiratory care procedures and manage adult, pediatric, and neonatal ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, EKGs, PFTs, and basic cardiac rhythm interpretation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient/outpatient setting and participate in on-call duties.
