Travel Registered Nurse First Assist Job
RNFA (Perioperative Services) travel assignment in Templeton, CA. Start date 04/13/2026 for 13 weeks. 40 hours per week on a 4x10-day schedule (10-hour days). Responsibilities
- Perform professional nursing functions: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as a Registered Nurse.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care to support outcomes and safety.
- Assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in perioperative care for patients undergoing a surgical experience.
- Function as RNFA within facility policies, promoting leadership, professionalism, and adherence to standards.
- Report to the Director of Perioperative Services and collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure quality care.
- Uphold the established Standards of Nursing Practice and the Tenet Standards of Conduct (Service, People, Quality, Growth, Cost).
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; ability to function in perioperative settings.
- Perioperative nursing experience or RNFA-related training/experience.
- Ability to work under the direction of the operating surgeon and within facility policies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Availability for a 4x10-hour day shift on a travel assignment.
- Ability to maintain professional standards and comply with organizational conduct guidelines.
