Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Provide OT interventions for orthopedic, neurological, developmentally delayed pediatric, and musculoskeletal populations to maximize functional independence.
- Participate in inpatient hospital care, nursing home care, outpatient clinic services, and, where needed, home health visits and school-based activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team (including PT and SLP) to coordinate goals, discharge planning, and patient education.
- Document progress, outcomes, and compassionate patient education in charting and communications in accordance with regulatory and department standards.
- Adapt activities and modalities to the patient’s current level of function and safety, including documentation of progress toward discharge goals.

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in good standing (US), with eligibility for practice in the appropriate jurisdiction as required for this assignment.
- Experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or similar settings; ability to work across inpatient, outpatient, and home health contexts.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively in a busy, multidisciplinary environment.
- Ability to perform OT assessments and deliver interventions across pediatric, orthopedic, and neurological populations as described in the role.
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment and work the scheduled daytime shift.
