Echo Technologist – Cardiac Echo in Glenwood Springs, CO
Travel assignment starting 06/16/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,518 to $2,622 with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift pattern is 5x8 rotating, in a hospital setting. This travel position is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography (TTE/TEE) under physician orders; apply contrast as needed (Optison/Definity) and conduct bubble studies
- Administer exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography; document findings and maintain image quality
- Acquire, process, and interpret 2D/3D echocardiographic studies; determine measurements and assist with preliminary reports per department protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot listed equipment and EMR systems (Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, Siemens Origin; EMR: Athena, Meditech, PICOM)
- Collaborate with cardiology team, anesthesia, and cath lab staff; participate in on-call rotation including evenings, nights, and weekends as required
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, equipment sanitation, and accurate charting; communicate clearly with patients and team

Requirements
- Certifications & Licenses: RDCS and BLS (required)
- Experience/Skills: Proficiency in TTE and TEE; contrast studies (Optison/Definity); bubble studies; exercise and dobutamine stress echo
- Equipment familiarity: Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, Siemens Origin
- EMR experience: Athena, Meditech, PICOM
- Interpersonal: positive, team-oriented communicator open to feedback
- Work setting readiness: ability to work in inpatient, outpatient, ER, and cath lab environments; willing to participate in evening/night/weekend call rotation
- Left-handed scanner preference noted
- Travel eligibility and ability to work a 40-hour week on a rotating schedule
