Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath Lab Technologist needed for a travel assignment in Saint Helena, California, United States. Start date: 08/31/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range: $2,681–$2,810 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Aid physicians in diagnosing and treating heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests; operate x-ray and physiological equipment; maintain equipment and records.
- Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures; apply radiation safety practices, including collimation and shielding; maintain sterile techniques and infection control.
- Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment (C-Arm, angiographic injectors, monitoring systems); perform basic preventive maintenance and report malfunctions.
- Assist Cardiologist and/or Radiologist during procedures and in the administration of contrast media; manage documentation of procedures and results in the medical record; contribute to EPIC data entry as required.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety, sterile technique, and clinical protocols; adapt to complex cases with knowledge from prior experience.
Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience (preferred)
- Experience: At least two years of recent field experience; one year of catheterization experience preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography) required; Radiologic Tech license in CA and HI required; Current Fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire; CPR/BLS certification required per policy; Facility-specific BLS certification required
- Additional: EPIC experience required; ability to work in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital environment
