Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory care per physician orders and established protocols
- Manage ventilator support, airway clearance therapies, oxygen delivery, bronchodilators, CPT, and aerosolized medications
- Monitor patient responses, adjust therapies as needed, and perform arterial blood gas sampling when indicated
- Document assessments and treatments in the patient record; participate in care planning and rounds
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and equipment sanitation; ensure accurate charting and compliance with standards
Requirements
- Active Georgia RRT license
- NBRC RRT credential
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory care, within this specialty
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced travel assignment environment
- No local candidates within 50 miles of Lawrenceville, GA
