Speech Language Pathologist – School-based SLP in an elementary setting for the 2026–2027 school year. Location: Zion, Illinois, United States. Start date: 08/10/2026. Travel assignment for the 2026–2027 school year with a weekly pay range of $1,812 to $1,946 per week. Eligible for CFs. Shift: 5x7 Days. Setting: Elementary school (K–5). Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students in an elementary school setting (K–5)
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and eligibility determinations; develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Deliver targeted therapy for articulation, language, voice, fluency, and social communication as appropriate; employ evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families; participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress reports
- Maintain timely documentation of evaluations, goals, progress updates, and service delivery in alignment with district policies
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20–30 students and adjust schedules to meet student needs
Requirements
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Eligibility to practice in a school setting with Kindergarten through 5th grade students
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
