Registered Nurse – Emergency Department | Travel assignment in Utica, NY | Start 08/10/2026 | 13-week contract | 36 guaranteed hours per week | 12-hour evening shift (10:30 AM–11:00 PM) | ED/hospital setting. This travel role requires current NYlicensure, EPIC EMR experience, and active ER certifications. The assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

- Unit: Emergency Department with a mix of adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
- Licensure and credentials: active NY RN license; Nursys verification; EPIC EMR experience; AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC required
- Experience: 2+ years ED experience with some pediatric exposure; travel experience required
- Travel eligibility: submission requires residence at least 75 miles from the site; locals within 75 miles receive local rate

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ED, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and stabilization of adult and pediatric patients
- Administer medications, IV therapy, fluids, and pressors as prescribed; perform relevant ED procedures and assist with emergent interventions
- Monitor patient status, interpret diagnostics, and respond to acute changes; support life-saving measures during cardiac or respiratory emergencies
- Document care accurately in the EPIC EMR; collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, and multidisciplinary teams
- Coordinate with case management for admissions, discharges, and transfers; ensure safe patient handoffs
- Maintain unit readiness, participate in performance improvement activities, and adhere to clinical guidelines for stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, and other critical conditions

Requirements
- Licensure: active New York RN license; Nursys license verification required
- Certifications: current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Education/Experience: 2+ years ED experience; some pediatric exposure; travel experience required
- EMR: EPIC EMR experience required
- Scope: ability to work in a fast-paced ED; floating to support operations as needed
- Logistics: RTO requests must be included at submission; submission requires residence at least 75 miles from the site; within 75 miles may qualify for local travel rate
- Start date readiness: able to begin 08/10/2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment
