Registered Nurse – Radiology (Interventional Radiology) in Rochester, NY. Start date 06/08/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Pay range: $2,558–$2,738 per week. Responsibilities
- Prepare adult inpatients and outpatients for interventional radiology procedures (biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided interventions)
- Provide intra-procedural monitoring, support sterile technique, and assist the multidisciplinary team during procedures
- Manage post-procedure recovery including PACU and 23-hour extended stay as dictated by patient needs
- Support critical embolization response for trauma patients as part of the IR care team
- Document assessments, vitals, procedural details, and post-procedure instructions; communicate changes to the clinical team
- Adhere to infection prevention measures and any unit-specific dress code requirements (including wearing hospital-issued scrubs when indicated)
Requirements
- New York State Registered Nurse license (active)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Telemetry experience
- Minimum 1 year of recent interventional radiology (IR) nursing experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based IR environment; weekend and holiday coverage as needed
