Travel Physical Therapist Job
Physical Therapist – Travel assignment in Franklin, NH. Start date 06/01/2026 for a 15-week assignment in a skilled nursing setting. Weekly pay range: $2,344–$2,451 per week. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (8.5 hours per day), Monday through Friday. This travel opportunity is a temporary assignment in a skilled nursing facility, with a clearly defined start date and duration.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial PT evaluations and establish a plan of care focused on function, mobility, and independence for residents
- Provide therapeutic interventions including gait training, balance activities, therapeutic exercises, ROM and functional mobility training
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document progress notes for each episode of care
- Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safety, fall prevention, and use of assistive devices
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, OT, speech therapy, social work) to optimize rehab outcomes and discharge planning
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance with professional standards and privacy regulations
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in New Hampshire or eligible for licensure
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Prior experience in physical therapy; experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment; strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work the listed shift and complete the 15-week assignment
