Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging with attention to patient positioning, technique selection, and image quality to support accurate interpretation.
- Provide support in interventional radiology suites, including neurovascular, trauma, and vascular imaging procedures; assist with imaging guidance during cath lab studies and post-procedure imaging as needed.
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety principles (ALARA), conduct routine equipment checks, and ensure proper documentation and image archiving in the patient record.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, clinicians, and other team members; verify orders, monitor patient condition, and maintain sterile technique in cath lab and related procedures.
- Manage on-call responsibilities within the assigned schedule, responding to emergent IR cases within a 30-minute callback window and ensuring continuity of patient care.
- Provide compassionate patient care, including pre- and post-procedure instructions, and assist with contrast administration and monitoring for adverse reactions as trained.

Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license as required by state regulations
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology (IR) experience; neuro (acute strokes), trauma, and vascular imaging exposure strongly preferred
- Cath lab experience preferred (familiarity with Impella, telemetry, and IABP is a plus)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
- Education: Postsecondary education in Radiologic Technology (degree or certificate); ability to meet state licensure requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume IR environment; in good physical condition for prolonged standing and assisting with patient care and imaging procedures
