Speech Language Pathologist - Acute Care, Pittsfield, MA. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting 06/22/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is 5x8 days, daytime hours (08:00–16:30). Setting: skilled nursing facility. Weekly pay range: $2,455–$2,633. Quick-start opportunity includes a $2,000 bonus.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations for adult patients and determine diagnoses and treatment goals.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans addressing communication, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing/swallow safety.
- Provide direct therapy and supervise or educate families and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support ongoing progress.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and participate in interdisciplinary team rounds and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and payer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and professional standards during all therapy activities.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for certification.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care or skilled nursing setting preferred.
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment and participate in a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
