CT Technologist (Radiology Tech) – Kansas City, KS, United States. Travel assignment beginning 06/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,385–$2,565 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures on patients, positioning and preparing to optimize image quality
- Operate CT hardware, including scanners such as GE Revolution 256-slice or Siemens Flash 128-slice, following protocols
- Verify patient identity and safety measures; obtain informed consent when required
- Monitor patients during scanning, assess equipment function, and adjust parameters to minimize radiation exposure
- Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to ensure accurate and timely imaging and documentation
- Adhere to trauma center standards and maintain strict radiation safety practices and quality control
Requirements
- Certifications: BLS; ARRT CT certification; KS Board of Healing Arts license or eligibility to apply for KSBHA upon offer
- Experience: Recent Level 1 trauma center experience preferred
- Technical: Proficiency with CT scanners and radiation safety practices
- Scheduling: Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a travel assignment
- Location: Willingness to travel to and work in the Kansas City, KS area
- Orientation: Eligible for facility start-up orientation; two-day orientation in the first week of assignment
