Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse | Long-Term Care | Waterloo, NY | Start 05/26/2026 | 14 weeks (contract) | $1,352-$1,388 per week | Rotating shift | Skilled Nursing Facility travel assignment. The LPN will participate in a full-time Day/Evening rotation (5x8s) and must be able to begin orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday for full-shift orientation.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents under the supervision of an RN
- Collect data on residents’ physical and psychosocial status and communicate findings to the RN and interdisciplinary team
- Contribute to development and revision of age-appropriate, culturally relevant care plans, involving residents and families
- Collaborate with the resident/family and team to ensure care meets needs and safety standards; refer for additional services as needed
- Maintain current nursing knowledge and participate in continuing education and in-service programs
- Support mentoring and orientation of other staff; practice leadership within the clinical team
- Adhere to policies and procedures; maintain infection control and safety standards; apply knowledge of adults and geriatric patient care
Requirements
- Active NY LPN licensure
- BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care setting
- Ability to provide care to adult and geriatric residents
- Availability to work holidays as required per unit need
- Ability to start orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday for full-shift orientation
- Clear communication, documentation, and collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team
