Overview
Registered Nurse - Adolescent Behavioral Health Inpatient in Saint Helena, California. This travel, temporary assignment begins 08/24/2026 for an 8-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The position offers a 3x12-hour day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) in a Short Term Acute Care setting. Pay ranges from $1,913 to $1,992 per week. Eligible for travel assignment support through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of adolescent patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across multiple levels, coordinating care with other disciplines.
- Collect relevant patient data, analyze assessments, identify diagnoses or care issues, and develop an evidence-based care plan.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, promote safety and a healing environment, and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes.
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and the treatment team; provide education to patients and families; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor for behavioral health crises, apply approved de-escalation and safety interventions, and document outcomes; ensure timely escalation when needed.

Requirements
- Active RN licensure in the state of practice (California required)
- Certifications: CPR/BLS required; Basic Life Support per policy; Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A required; ACLS and PALS (AHA-ARC or equivalent) required; BLS as facility standard
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; acute care experience preferred
- Ability to work in an inpatient behavioral health setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
