Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for obstetric patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using professional judgment.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications and interventions as ordered, and respond to obstetric emergencies.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families to support safe transitions.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe, healing environment; document care and maintain accurate charting.
- Support learning for patients, families, and team members; delegate and coordinate duties appropriately.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (Oregon) or as otherwise required for the assignment.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); STABLE; Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (INTFETAL).
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in obstetrics/gynecology or related acute care settings.
- Ability to work night shifts in a hospital environment and function effectively within a critical access setting.
