Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic radiologic examinations with emphasis on CT imaging, including patient preparation, positioning, selecting and applying technical factors, and securing appropriate image quality.
- Explain procedures to patients, monitor vital signs as needed, and ensure radiation safety and protection for patients and staff.
- Operate CT scanners and associated equipment; determine nonstandard examination requirements and adjust factors, positioning, and image sequences accordingly.
- Manage digital radiology workflow: load readers, push images to PACS, perform electronic editing/annotation, and assist with quality control for modalities assigned.
- Maintain and troubleshoot radiology IT equipment and systems (PACS, workstations, cassette readers) and keep accurate records of examinations performed, including views and technical factors used.
- Collaborate with the radiology team, participate in departmental planning, and, when qualified, provide services in at least one other modality beyond general radiology.

Requirements
- ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist required; CT credentialing is strongly preferred or must be maintained.
- 1–2 years of CT training and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field.
- Ability to work in a hospital radiology setting; willingness to work nights and travel as a temporary assignment.
- Must maintain ARRT accreditation with ongoing continuing education and comply with post-offer screenings and health requirements (background check, drug screen, health assessment, immunizations, and TB testing).
- Language: must read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Additional qualifications may include demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and effective teamwork in a clinical setting.
