Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU, travel assignment in Simi Valley, CA. Start date 05/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,878–$1,949 per week. Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12). This high-acuity unit delivers intensive care to medical, surgical, and cardiac patients in shock, trauma, or other life-threatening conditions.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group following established standards of care and the nursing process
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition in a high-acuity ICU, including shock, trauma, and other life-threatening events
- Administer medications, therapies, and treatments per physician orders; assess effectiveness and adverse effects
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at varying licensure levels; delegate appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Minimum 1 year of ICU or high-acuity medical/surgical/cardiac care experience
- Ability to work a 36-hour weekly schedule on nights (3x12-hour shifts)
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and manage multiple priorities
