Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic imaging procedures in the OR/cath lab environment, including fluoroscopy and image capture, with correct patient positioning and adherence to sterile technique.
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment (C-arm), assist with scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during procedures, and maintain patient safety throughout.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms, monitor patient status, and respond to rhythm changes as part of the Cath Lab team.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing staff to ensure appropriate imaging, documentation, and patient outcomes.
- Document procedures and findings in the electronic medical record; MediTech EMR experience is preferred.
- Maintain radiation safety and ALARA principles, verify patient data, and ensure accurate charting and image linkage to the patient record.
- Ensure equipment readiness, assist with instrument and supply management, and escalate any equipment issues as needed.
Requirements
- Active Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License (required)
- American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
- American Heart Association ACLS certification (required)
- 2+ years of Cath Lab experience (required)
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms, scrub, circulate, and monitor during procedures (required)
- MediTech EMR experience (preferred)
- Submission requirements: 2 Supervisory Reference Forms (within last two years) and a current Skills Checklist pertinent to the Cath Lab (documentation required)
- Geographic note: Applicants located within approximately 90 miles of Batesville, AR may have limited consideration; applicants 90–150 miles away will be reviewed but may have restricted eligibility
