Travel Radiology Ultrasound Tech Job
Ultrasound Technologist (Radiology) needed for a travel assignment in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Start date: 05/25/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $3,058–$3,199 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: four 10-hour daytime shifts per week with weekend rotation. Setting: hospital with inpatient and outpatient imaging across multiple sites.

Responsibilities
- Perform general ultrasound examinations including standard and advanced imaging across multiple body systems.
- Proficiently image: small parts, vascular (lower and upper extremity venous), and obstetric/gynecologic fetal surveys (1st–3rd trimesters); include pediatric imaging as needed (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception).
- Ensure image quality and patient safety; apply ALARA principles; maintain equipment and perform basic quality control as appropriate.
- Document findings and enter results into the designated EMR (EPIC experience preferred); communicate with radiologists and physicians.
- Provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings; float to Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett sites as needed; participate in weekend rotation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of ultrasound specialty experience
- ARDMS RDMS certification required at submission; AHA BLS required at submission
- Ability to float to Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett sites; inpatient and outpatient settings
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
- EMR experience preferred (EPIC)
- RTO (return-to-office) requests must be included at submission and may not be guaranteed after confirmation
