Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Travel in Utica, NY. This 13-week travel assignment starts May 18, 2026, with a weekly pay range of $1,416 to $1,499 and 37.5 guaranteed hours per week. Evening shift from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM in a skilled nursing facility setting. You will float to all units within the building as needed and care for residents with diverse needs, including MS, ortho, dementia, and memory care. Active NY LPN license and BLS, plus 1+ year of long-term care experience, are required. EMR used: PointClick Care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN, in a skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; document actions in the EMR
- Monitor patient status, including vital signs, mobility, and comfort; report changes promptly
- Perform routine nursing procedures, assist with wound care, injections, and personal care as appropriate
- Float to all units within the building as needed; coordinate with team to ensure patient safety and continuity of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans; maintain accurate, timely documentation
Requirements
- Active New York LPN license
- BLS certification
- 1+ year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
- Ability to work the evening shift (2:30 PM–10:30 PM) and to float to all units within the facility
- Proficiency with PointClick Care or comparable EMR system
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative care team
