Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in Long-Term Care is sought for a travel, temporary assignment in Quakertown, PA. Start date is May 5, 2026 for a 6-week contract. The role offers 32 guaranteed hours per week with a night shift schedule (11:00 PM–7:30 AM), five eight-hour shifts per week, and every-other weekend coverage in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per the resident's plan of care and facility policies
- Monitor vital signs, assess residents, document findings, and report changes to the supervising RN
- Provide routine nursing care and support activities of daily living (ADLs) for residents
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in resident records and ensure charting compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and communicate with families as appropriate
- Uphold safety, infection prevention, and residents’ rights, while maintaining professional standards of care
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric care preferred
- Ability to work night shift and perform nursing duties in a long-term care setting
