Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Los Angeles, California. Start date: 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks. 3x12 night shifts (36 hours per week) in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for an assigned group of patients using the nursing process and established standards.
- Assess patient status, implement care plans, administer treatments, and document outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of licensed and unlicensed nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians, specialists, case management, and support services to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, complete documentation and ensure compliance with policies, standards of care, and safety protocols.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, professional judgment, and appropriate delegation in a fast-paced ER environment.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ER experience or other acute care experience preferred
- Ability to work a 3x12 night shift in a high-acuity setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable supervising staff across levels
- Willingness to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements for a travel assignment
