Registered Nurse – ICU in Salida, Colorado, United States. Start date 04/13/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,019–$2,147 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU, including ongoing assessment and rapid escalation of care as needed.
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic status, ventilator settings, medications, and life-sustaining therapies; adjust plans per physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments, document responses, and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other specialists to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to policies; respond to emergencies and participate in rapid response as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and families about conditions, procedures, and expected outcomes; contribute to discharge planning.
Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado.
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program; BSN preferred.
- BLS certification; ACLS required; PALS preferred.
- Ability to work nights and maintain 36 hours per week in a travel assignment.
- Capacity to work in a Critical Access Hospital ICU setting and adhere to unit protocols.
