Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg unit, using evidence-based nursing practices

- Administer medications and treatments, including IV therapies and wound care, within scope of practice
- Document care in the electronic medical record and communicate updates to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, bedside nurses, and ancillary staff to develop and adjust care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning to promote safe transitions
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; willingness to cover holidays as assigned
- Eligible for travel assignment; no local candidates within 50 miles
- Must be able to meet the assignment length (13 weeks) and start date
