Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures for orthopedic trauma patients following established protocol and patient safety guidelines.
- Operate radiography equipment, including standard and portable imaging, to produce high-quality diagnostic images with correct positioning and technique.
- Verify patient identity and exam orders, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Adhere to ARRT standards and AHA BLS requirements; practice infection control and radiation safety, including proper shielding and exposure minimization.
- Collaborate with radiology team and orthopedic/trauma staff to meet exam objectives; document procedures and ensure accurate labeling and image placement in the PACS.
- Ensure equipment readiness, perform basic quality checks, and maintain a clean, organized imaging area.
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in orthopedic trauma radiology or a closely related specialty
- Ability to work in a hospital imaging environment with a multidisciplinary team
- Eligible to work in the United States and available for a 13-week travel assignment
