Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting following care plans and physician orders
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments; monitor for adverse effects and document administration accurately
- Monitor resident status, vital signs, and changes in condition; respond promptly and escalate as needed
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and support mobility, bathing, dressing, and hygiene as appropriate
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment; adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and with families as appropriate
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts
- Willingness to commit to an 8-week travel assignment
- Proficient in clinical documentation and medication administration
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting with geriatric residents
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
