Responsibilities
- Perform CT exams and procedures as requested by medical staff
- Operate CT scanner and adjust imaging parameters to optimize quality while minimizing exposure
- Assist radiologists and other staff during exams and procedures
- Conduct routine quality inspections and quality control maintenance on the CT scanner as per manufacturer guidance and organizational policies
- Complete documentation for ordering, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of CT exams
- Retrieve written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and adherence to departmental standards
Requirements
- ARRT CT registry eligible
- Graduate of CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent ARRT training
- Two (2) years of radiology experience as a registered technologist
- American Heart Association BLS required within 60 days of hire
- ARRT Radiography certification/registration demonstrated or equivalent
- Education in Radiologic Technology as required by program completion
- Ability to work in an outpatient CT setting and meet the shift requirements
- Willingness to comply with travel assignment requirements, including distance from the facility
