Cardiovascular Technologist — OR - CVOR Tech, located in Hermiston, Oregon, US. This travel position begins 07/27/2026 for a 13-week assignment in a critical access hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,891 to $2,018, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 3x12 Days. This is a Travel - Temporary Assignment equipment and sterile-processing role within the surgical services environment.

Responsibilities
- Function as scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures by assembling supplies and equipment required for the procedure; prepare and organize sterile supplies and instruments; provide instruments and supplies to the surgical team; assist with placement of sterile drapes; maintain an organized sterile field; ensure sterility and take corrective actions as needed; prepare sterile dressings.
- Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas; assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and prepare the room for subsequent patients.
- Perform instrument accounting in collaboration with the RN circulator; assist with placement of sterile drapes and hand instruments to the surgical team during the procedure.
- Participate in ongoing educational and competency verification activities applicable to scrub duties; maintain privacy and confidentiality of health information; support the hospital mission, vision, and values.
- Participate in required education for DNV programs as applicable to the position; agency nurses may be floated to other departments where qualified before core staff is floated.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program.
- Certifications: BLS required; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- Training: CRASE training will be required if the travel assignment extends beyond six months.
- Clinical: Ability to function as a scrub person in operative and invasive procedures; ability to maintain a sterile field and work effectively in a fast-paced OR environment.
