Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, document responses
- Monitor resident status, identify changes, and communicate with the care team
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update and implement care plans
- Maintain safety, infection control, and adherence to facility policies and procedures
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing for New Mexico or eligibility for NM licensure
- Prefer experience in long-term care or skilled nursing environments
- Ability to work the 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM night shift (3x12 schedule)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR/BLS certification or the ability to obtain
- Basic computer documentation and resident-recordkeeping proficiency
