Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including abdomen, gynecologic, pelvic, and breast imaging, in alignment with exam protocol.
- Assist with breast biopsy procedures as part of the breast imaging team, ensuring patient safety and procedural accuracy.
- Operate, assess, and maintain ultrasound equipment; ensure proper quality control and image optimization.
- Prepare patients, position them appropriately, monitor patient comfort, and provide clear explanations of procedures.
- Document findings and upload images to the electronic medical record system; communicate results to radiologists and supervising physicians.
- Collaborate with radiologists, breast care specialists, and other imaging staff; adhere to safety, infection control, and privacy standards.

Requirements
- ARDMS certification in abdomen, gynecology, and breast
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
- Experience in a breast care center and performing breast biopsies
- Large teaching hospital experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
- BLS certification
- Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification or equivalency
- Ability to work night shift; weekends as needed; reliable transportation recommended (public transportation not readily available)
- Must be able to work in a hospital setting and adhere to all credentialing and employment gap explanations as requested
