Responsibilities
- Provide nursing leadership across units, coordinating staffing, patient care delivery, and clinical operations.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring patient safety, quality of care, and compliance with policies and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, manage priorities, and resolve issues affecting patient flow.
- Ensure accurate documentation in the Epic system; monitor charting quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Direct supervision of staff with emphasis on mentorship, performance feedback, and professional development.
- Manage scheduling and coverage for 12-hour day shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotations.
- Support adherence to BLS/ACLS requirements, credentialing, and ongoing staff education.
- Facilitate a smooth patient experience by guiding problem-solving and resource allocation in a high-demand setting.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- 3–5 years of nursing experience
- 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
- BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications
- Epic electronic medical record experience
- No float requirement; ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an inpatient care environment
- Must have been separated from a related health system within the past 6 months
- Start date flexibility to accommodate ASAP or 07/13/2026 availability
