Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed respiratory therapies, including bronchodilator administration, airway clearance, NIV therapy, and oxygen support.
- Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation, using equipment such as Hamilton C3/T1 ventilators, and adjust settings per protocol and physician orders.
- Deliver NIV with devices like V60, Airvo 2, and HFNC (Bubble CPAP as applicable) and participate in NIV weaning strategies as directed.
- Support neonatal and pediatric respiratory care needs when required, drawing on NICU/PICU experience.
- Collaborate with Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and Hospitalist teams; assist with external transports for adult critical care as needed.
- Document patient assessments and treatments in the Epic electronic medical record; follow unit protocols for bronchodilator therapy, airway clearance, and ventilation procedures.
- Adhere to unit-level procedures, infection control, and safety standards; participate in on-unit care delivery across ICU and ED settings as applicable.

Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT) with license on file at time of submission; current licensure to practice in the United States.
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; NBRC Verification.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; Neonatal and Pediatric (NICU/PICU) experience required or strongly preferred.
- EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; weekend requirements every other weekend; holidays as needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from the assignment location; public transit is not available in the area.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and support adult critical care, ICU, and ED units as needed.
