Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient dialysis care, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis (PD)
- Cannulate AV fistula or graft and manage dialysis catheters
- Troubleshoot dialysis machines, respond to alarms, and support SLEDD cases in ICU
- Monitor patient status during dialysis, manage complications (hypotension, fluid shifts, clotting)
- Collaborate with ICU, IV/respiratory, pharmacy, and multidisciplinary teams; document care in the electronic chart
- Provide bedside dialysis support across units as needed and participate in orientation of new staff

Requirements
- Active RN license ( Idaho or Compact) in hand at time of submittal
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year dialysis or relevant inpatient RN experience
- Skills: AV access cannulation (fistula/graft); machine troubleshooting; alarm management
- Equipment familiarity: Tablo dialysis machines (hemodialysis/SLEDD); Baxter Claria HomeChoice PD
- Education/Experience notes: Epic charting preferred
- Onboarding expectations: Complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing; orientation modules average 4–6 hours onsite
- Compliance: Local travelers not accepted — 100-mile radius rule
- Work setting: Ability to work in a hospital environment with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; willingness to cover 3x12-hour shifts with on-call
