- Key responsibilities: Provide expert CCU nursing care for critically ill adults, including hemodynamic monitoring, invasive line management (arterial, central venous), vasoactive drips, and advanced airway management. Lead ventilator management, sedation protocols, daily orientation of care plans, and rapid response interventions for unstable hemodynamics or respiratory failure. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to drive accurate assessments, timely interventions, and consistent documentation. Mentor on-the-floor staff and support students or new hires to reinforce evidence-based practice and safety standards.
