Responsibilities
- Function under the direction of the Chief Technologist and Vascular Institute Manager
- Provide safe, patient-centered care and perform all department exams according to procedures
- Independently obtain high-quality diagnostic images through interventional radiology procedures
- Set up equipment, position patients, and assist with imaging services for IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional procedures
- Apply independent judgment, initiative, and technical skill to optimize image quality and patient safety
- Maintain procedural workflow, sterile technique, and patient monitoring throughout examinations
Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license or registration (state-specific eligibility if required)
- Relevant ARRT certification in Radiography; Interventional Radiology experience preferred
- Ability to work in IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- BLS certification required; ability to work on a 4x10-hour day shift in a hospital travel assignment
- Willingness to travel and adapt to a travel assignment environment
