Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed staff, including assistance with activities of daily living
- Support patients on telemetry-monitored units and report changes to the supervising nurse
- Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and patient safety; respond promptly to call lights
- Maintain accurate documentation of care, observations, and patient status per policy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment; comply with infection control and privacy guidelines
- May perform sitter duties as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in Hawaii
- 1 year of CNA experience preferred on acute care and telemetry monitored floors
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including 8- and 12-hour shifts; days and/or nights
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with transfers and mobility; meet physical requirements of the role
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow directions and maintain patient confidentiality
- Eligible to work in the United States and able to complete required onboarding/credentials for a travel assignment
