Responsibilities
- Position the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot or ankle for radiographic imaging.
- Operate X-ray equipment, process images, and document into PACS.
- Perform imaging procedures with a level of independence as directed by department policy; ensure image quality and proper labeling.
- Provide basic patient care under supervision of the clinic nurse, including vital signs, rooming patients, and assisting clinicians as needed.
- Prepare patients for clinician evaluation, assist with specimen collection if qualified, and help maintain a clean, stocked imaging area.
- May float to main radiology as needed and participate in general workflow coverage.
Requirements
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services.
- Current CPR certification.
- California-issued Fluoroscopy Permit.
- Current ARRT licensure.
- EPIC EMR experience.
- Prior traveler experience preferred.
